NICKEL-NIOBIUM MASTER ALLOY
TO SPECIFICATION TY 14-5-67-88
The addition of niobium to stainless and high-temperature steels improves their ductility and corrosion resistance, increases strength and improves steel weldability. Niobium is required to make steels and alloys used at high temperatures.
Chemical composition:
Grade | Chemical composition, % | ||||||||
Nb | Ni | Al | Si | Fe | C | ||||
in limits | max. | ||||||||
